| Abstract: | In order to determine behavior of Xiamen residual soil under cyclic loading, triaxial test with undrained conditions has been conducted in this paper. First, some important dynamic parameters such as strength, elastic modulus and damping ratio have been determined. Secondly, behavior of stress-strain, stress path and excess pore water pressure under cyclic loading has been analyzed. Finally, both the normalization and the determination of dynamic strength index ∅d and ?d for residual soil have been discussed. |
