| Abstract: | The testing study of three-point bending uniaxial compression of granite with the temperature from room one to 300℃ is presented in this paper. The fracture toughness Klc, uniaxial compression strength fp, and elastic moduli of granite varying with temperature and temperature rate are given, which shows the maximum fracture toughness of granite is given at 150℃, about 1.14 times of that at room temperature, although the uniaxial compression strength decreases as the temperature increases. The effect pf temperature on fracture process of granite is interpreted with the help of observation from electron and optical microscopes. |
