简单分段法及其在地层划分中的应用实例

摘    要:地层划分中的数学分段法,目前普遍采用的是有序地质量最优分割法,而较简便的简单分段法应用却很少。本文着重对后者进行探讨,提出一些应用意见。

Abstract:The optimal section method of digitized sequences of geological data, as simply called V-type method, is, at present, a common mathematical method in dividing strata. However, its calculating amount is great, and the results cannot be indicated by a visual chart, so it is rather difficult to apply. Additionally, the stratum dividing lines made by this method are often intercrossed, and the divisions are not sure to be the proper division lines in the divisible sedimentary layers.The method of I-type mathematical segmentation, however, emphasizes the differences of the characteristics between the segments (sections). Thus, it is suitable for division of the sedimentary layers. Moreover, its calculation is simple and the application is convenient. At present, the study and application of this method is still at its initial stage. The main point of this essay is to approach I-type method and use both I-type and Y-type methods to divide and correlate the Sinian-Cambrian strata in a certain region of Yunnan Province. It may be seen that I-type method has showed its superiority.
