| Abstract: | The characteristics of the typical climate in the Bostan Lake basin are analyzed based onthe meteorological data collected by the meteorological stations in the basin. The resultsshow that it is characterized by sufficient sunshine, limited precipitation and heavy evaporation. According to the comparing analysis on the data collected by the meteorological stationnearby Bostan Lake and Yanqi Meteorological Station, the air temperatures in the land andlake areas are nearly the same. However, the wind speed, humidity, evaporation as well asthe precipitation in the lake area are obviously higher than that in the land area, especially,the wind speed can be as strong as 2 or 3 times of that in the land area |
