Discussion on Map Labeling and Map Annotation

Map annotation is an important part of map contents,it's a language of map and an interpretation of map content,also a kind of primitive expression.However,with the development of computer technology,researchers proposed another expression,it's Map Labeling.This paper considered that map labeling is a performance form of map annotation in the computer environment and an another expression form of map annotation by analyzing and comparing the content of map annotation and map labeling.
