| Abstract: | On May 22,2003,an earthquake of M 6.9 occurred in Algeria,resulting the heavy losses of life and property.This is the strongest earthquake which struck Algeria in recent twenty years.Some information data about the earthquake are outlined,including basic parameters,focal mechanism,damage,casualties,emergency rescue and background of earthquake occurrence. |
