| Abstract: | The formulated ground surface movement equations due to tunneling based on stochastic medium theory are introduced; and a corresponding computer code named SASMD is developed. The design idea, overall structure and the characteristics of SASMD are described; and some engineering examples are analyzed using the developed code. The comparison between the calculated results and observations shows that the software SASMD has the characteristics of good reliability, high precision and convenience in usage; and it can be applied effectively to the prediction of tunneling-induced ground surface movements and deformations. |
