| Abstract: | The potential use of a new ESR method for the dating of subfossil shells is discussed on an example from the northern part of the East-European Plain. A variant of the ESR technique, elaborated at the Institute of Geology of the Academy of Sciences of the Estonian SSR, is described and the Eemian age of the Boreal transgression proved. |
