泉州平原第四纪地层的划分对比

摘    要:前人将泉州平原第四纪地层划分为中全新统长乐组冲-洪积层、海积层;早全新统东山组海积层;上更新统龙海组冲-洪积层和时代未分的残-坡积层。作者从岩石、孢粉、生物、年代等地层学入手,结合纵横剖面分析,将该平原划分为下、中、上全新统和上更新统。平原中北部缺失下全新统的河口相-潮间带沉积层,而平原中部以南和入海口一带却不缺失此层。其因是下全新统高程不一,中全新统NW 向新构造活动断裂,导致海进,在平原内沉积了中全新统地层。海进时间约5 000a,B.P.。

Abstract:Hydrogeologic and enginerring geologic survey in a scale of 1:200 000 had been madepreviously in the Quanzhou Plain,and the Quaternary System in the area had been divided in-to Changle Formation of the Middle Holocene Series-proluvium-alluvium and marine deposit,and Dongshan Formation of the Lower Holocene Series-marine deposit,and the Longhai For-mation of the Upper Pleistocene Series-proluvium-alluvium,and a residuai-deluvium un-known in age.This poper proposes a seheme for the Quternary stratigraphical classfication of theQuanzhou plain.This is to divide the Quaternary System into the Upper,Middle and LowerHolocene Series,and the Upper Pleistocene Series,on the basis of a synthetical study andcomparison for a vast amount of data from lithostra-tigraphy,spore-pollen stratigraphy,chronostratigraphy and biostratigraphy obtained through the investigations carried out in theQuanzhou Plain in the past years.The author considers that the strata of estuary-intertidal zone deposit of the LowerHolocene Series is absent in the middle and north parts of the Quanzhou Plain,though it ispresent in the south to the middle part and in the zone of the river mouth.It is possible thatthe transgression at the Early Holocene had not reached the former areas because their eleva-tion was higher than the latter areas,and there occurred a northwest trending active fault atthe time of the Middle Holocene,resulting from the transgression at about 5 000 a ago,which had submerged the whole Quanzhou Plain.
