Application of MAPGIS software system in mapping and database building of county-level geological disaster survey and layout

In the course of geological disaster survey and planning of county-level,the mapping and database building need a mass of data deposit,inquiry,process and updating.Repeated errors may sometimes occur during data editing,database building and result output when using MAPGIS software system.In accordance with these issues,the authors made use of some techniques and settings in MAPGIS,to improve the precision of finished maps,quicken the building of maps.The submitted maps may be used to analyze a variety of data,to content the requirements of geological disaster evaluation,and to provide a technological support for the policy-making of the concerned governments.
