| Abstract: | Based on the soil mechanical principle and mathematic theory and on condition that the percolation force of ground water is not taken into consideration, a new method for determining the critical sliding surface of slope and calculating the slope stability factor is developed, and some cases to apply the method to the earth rock engineerings are also introduced. |
