Abstract:The study presents data of hydrophysical observations and the results of studying the chemical composition of water and suspended particulate matter obtained in April of 2016 and 2017 during the complex studies in the Ural River lower reaches and in the Caspian Sea region adjoining the river mouth. It is revealed that the chemical composition of river runoff varied greatly not only from year to year but also within the period of field studies that may be explained by the water inflow from different parts of the river catchment during the spring flood.
