| Abstract: | A theory of three dimensional finite consolidation is established on co-moving system with Chen’s definition of strain, and the limitation of small deformation in classical consolidation theory is given up. The variation principle of energy rete and its generalized one in finite consolidation theory are proved in this paper. |
