| Abstract: | There is a serious problem of fresh water shorage in the coastal areas in China,which results in the sharp contradition between supply and demand. Two importantmeasures are proposed to solve this problem-to develop the seawater desalinationtechnology with low energy comsuption and to exploit fresh water resources atthe bottom of the sea. |
