In three0-component geomagnetic observation data, the time mark is one of important factors. For need of three-component geomagnetic observation, a clock to make missing time mark automatically, using LSI digital clock circuit and CMOS digital circuits, is made. The clock can make missing time mark automatically and send out a warning., as time-marking clock is in breakdown. It has been used in Changli geomagnetic station which is a national station of grade II. The quality of observation data has been improved since the clock was in operation.
