| Abstract: | The connection between the knowledge economy and the information propagation is expounded.The challenges the academic libraries faces are also discussed.The importance of the reader education in the academic libraries for higher education reform, quality education and lifelong education of the whole society in the era of the knowledge economy is emphasized.Some suggestions are made on the contents and measures of the library reader education. |
