Abstract:Spatial Autocorrelation method(SPAC) is one of main methods used in microtremor exploration.It requires an regular circle array.The position of observation sites should be determined before observation.As irregular micrtremor array can be processed with Extend Spatial Autocorrelation method(ESAC) which makes post-positioning possible.The phase velocity obtained by regular and irregular microtremor array is compared by simulation.It shows that the result from regular array fits theoretical curve well and is better than those from irregular array,so we suggest that regular circle array is necessary and accurate positioning should be done before observation.
