| Abstract: | Geological data has always been stored on paper as the major carrier since the very beginning,as a result,the retrieval of it can only be operated in a way of manual ineffectiveness.To improve the current situation the Ministry of Geology and Mineral Resources of China is making efforts to encourage the use of the advanced CD storage and retrieval system for geological image and character data. |
