The behavior of midday auroras during substorms |

| Abstract: | The behavior of midday auroras during auroral substorms is examined on the basis of all-sky photographs taken from the South Pole station. It is indicated that the model of auroral substorms constructed by Starkov and Feldstein (1967) needs some modifications. |
