Abstract:Using the data of weather, soil and rice crop, the authors at first simulated and predicted the phenophase, the tiller formation and death, the leaf area dynamics, the dry matter accumulation, and the grain formation of rice by means of a number of simulation models. According to the results of a comparison between the values of predicted and the optimum based on a high yield cultivation theory and some decision-making models, a series of cultivational decisions to lead the rice population dynamics towards the optimum were then made by using the system cybernetics theory.
