摘    要:用数值模拟方法揭示湛江港潮汐汊道落潮三角洲的潮流场特征和波浪场特征,探讨落潮三角洲地貌的形成、演化过程中的沉积动力学意义,并提出湛江港落潮三角洲沉积物的运动模式。

Abstract:The ebb-tidal delta of Zhanjiang Harbor is the biggest one in the coast of South China. Comprehensive investigation on the delta is important for future exploitation of itsnavigation channel.This paper attemps to study, from the viewpoint of hydrodynamics, the morphological structure and evolution of the ebb-tidal delta. Numerical simulations of tidal current and wave in the range of the delta were undertaken, and some features of tidal current field and wave field in the delta were presented, which verified certain conclusions of previous investigations, such as marginal flood current, the ebb-tidal delta's "convex-lens effect" and deflected wave ray which may cause local reverse littoral drift, etc. The characters of tidal current and wave control the' sediment movements and morphology of Zhanjiang ebb-tidal delta, and a sand circulation model was generated.
