大众文化语境下的网络媒介以其虚拟、自由、平等和娱乐特性为置身于赛博空间"狂欢节广场"的网民提供了体验新的愉悦生活的条件。网民们利用匿名优势、以自娱性姿态挣脱了语言规范的羁绊,恣意表达个性。由此,赛博空间话语狂欢。网络语词的使用背离常规,发生变异,其特征有四:缩略语词的编码呈任意性、图符语词成为非语言交际的语符形式、谐音语词唯"读出"方能会意以及编码语词的所指与能指相互矛盾。

In the context of popular culture,Internet media,which can give netizens freedom,equality and entertainment by presenting a virtual world,offer them opportunities to experience in the carnival-like cyberspace a new and joyful life.The netizens entertain themselves and reveal their personality unrestrainedly,by concealing their real names and ignoring the language norms.Thus,there appears lingual carnival in the cyberspace.Being used against the normal language rules,networds have four features with variation: random abbreviations;the graphic symbols as means of nonverbal communication;the homophones that can not be understood without being read aloud;the coding words with the contradiction between the signifiers and the signified.
