| Abstract: | The study taking the Pudong area in Shanghai as a typical region has showed that there are two kinds of motive mechanism driving the evolvement of districts .The former consists in the external antinomy between the administrative space and the space structure of the economy, and the latter rests with the internal antinomy between the organizational structure of districts and optimalization of the management efficiency. They lay various particular attentions in affecting factors of the districts, while they drive the evolvement of districts together. And the background factors such as the change of environment and economic development taking that as a medium influence the setting of districts, and it takes on some character of stages. |
