| Abstract: | Sand table,a scaled three-dimensional model,is made of sand and foam sheets according to topographic maps,aero-photograph and real topography to imitate the relief of a local terrain.Sand table provides extensible capacity of development featured in full view,persistence and visualization.This paper attempted to illustrate the procedure of making a sand table in light of author＇s practice experience,focusing on the schematic design and manufacturing process. |
