黄河口毗邻渤海陆架区悬浮体成分

扫描电镜配合能谱分析、X射线衍射及光学显微镜分析表明,黄河口毗邻的渤海陆架区悬浮体主要由矿物、浮游生物和有机包膜三类成分组成。在悬浮体中鉴别出23种矿物,主要是石英、长石、云母、方解石和粘土矿物(依次为伊利石、蒙皂石、绿泥石和高岭石),特征矿物是云母、方解石、蒙皂石和角闪石。辨识出21种藻类,大多数是硅藻,少数为钙藻和鞭毛藻。生物成分主要集中在水体上层。首次在渤海悬浮体中发现了有机包膜。并讨论了悬浮体成因及其沉积作用。

COMPOSITIONS OF SUSPENDED MATTER ON THE SOUTHERN BOHAI SHELF ADJACENT TO THE YELLOW RIVER ESTUARY

Compositions of suspended matter on the southern Bohai shelf adjacent to the Yellow River estuary were studied by scanning electronic microscopy, x-ray energy dispersion, x-ray diffractomctry and optical microscopy. Three different kinds of compositions were distinguished: minerals, planktons and organic films.Twenty-three mineral species or subgroups were identified in the suspended matter, showing much less variety in mineralogical compositions than that in the bottom sediments. Most abundant minerals are feldspars, quartz, mica, calcite and clay minerals such as illite, smectite, chlorite and koolinite in sequence The characteristic ones arc mica calcite, smectite and hornblene. Most of the m incrals are terrigeneous, however, some pyrite, Fe-dolomite and quartz may be authigcnic. The minerals consist of most of the suspended matter of the middle and bottom water column.Twenty-one alga were recognized in the samples of the suspended matter. Most of them were diatoms. There were also some calcarous algue and silicoflagellates Some skeletal debries of fa rom were found. The plankton makes up a rather large portion of the suspended matter in water column off the coast , especially in the surface layer.Organic films were reported for the first time in the Bohai Gulf and effected the floculation process of the suspended matterThe origin and functions of the suspended matter in the sedimentary processes were discussed
