| Abstract: | The engineering case for Santuti Container Pier in Yantai Harbour is used for an example to analyse and summarize the phenomena, cause, and harmfulness of the gravity-guay over-displaement and uneven subsidence. Measures for prevention and treatment of those problems are proposed, and the obviously successful results from the measures are achieved. |
