回顾与展望:软玉的研究

软玉是中国传统文化的主要载体之一，自古以来吸引了众多国内外地质学者不懈的研究，期间大致可分为开创和萌芽、大发展、总结和探索三个时期。通过努力，在软玉文化、物质组分、物理性质、矿物学特征、岩石学特征等方面的研究已取得令人瞩目的成绩，但还存在不少问题。基于对软玉研究现状的分析，笔者认为软玉矿床学、成玉机理和质量评价三个方面的研究还存在极大的不足，是下一阶段软玉研究的重点和突破口。

Review and Prospect on Research of Nephrite

Nephrite is one of the most important carriers of Chinese ancient culture. A lot of geologists have taken an active part in the research of it in the past,which can be divided into three periods:inauguration period, fast -development period,summarizing and exploring period. The researchers have had a scientific image on the culture,mineral and chemical composition,physical properties,petrological characteristics of nephrite. Based on the analysis of the actuality, the author thinks that we should put more emphasis on the research of nephrite deposit, mechanisms of nephritization and nephrite grading, which can also be regarded as the breakthrough of the nephrite research.
