TECTONICS OF CONTINENTAL BLOCK IN NORTH QILIAN OROGENIC BELT

In the Early Paleozoic era, many continental broken blocks in different size were left over and distributed on the oceanic crust of North Qilian microocean during breaking apart and drifting of Mid-Qilian micro-continent from North China continent. It was proved by sedimentary and volcanic series that they had a character of tension interim crust of margin of the continent. Continental block which had been separated from each other flocked in the Late Palaeozoic, were sutured by ophiolite and flysch, and finally rigged up at the south margin of North China continent. They were also a type of clear tectonic block in the Cenozoic fault orogenic belt, and were separated from the other tectonic blocks formed in different times by the fault, and all of these are a kind of important sense in the studied area.
