| 摘 要： | 中国地理信息系统(GIS)已经走过了22年的发展历程，取得了长足的进步，在国家信息化、国家安全、经济建设、科学研究等方面发挥着越来越重要的作用。本文根据GIS兼具的“工具”、“资源”和“学科”三大属性，探讨了今后中国GIS的发展方向，提出要大力发展业务化的GIS应用系统，加强多尺度、多类型地理空间数据库的建设与持续更新，积极研制具有自主产权的GIS技术系统，重视和加强GIS的基础和应用基础研究，积极拓展GIS行业和规范GIS市场。

| Abstract: | After 22 year's development, more and more GIS are in operational use in China. This paper provides an overview of the directions of GIS development in China. It covers the development of long-term and productivity-enhancing GIS application programs, development , refinement and updating of multi-scale spatial data infrastructure, development of advanced technical systems and standardized products or services, basic research on geo-information sciences, as well as GIS professional development and education. |
