| Abstract: | The paper make a review on the course of promoting natural disaster predictions by the Chinese Geophysical Society for the past ten years. Methodologies and methods for predicting natural disasters have been briefly described. Natural disasters mainly include meteorological disaster, flood and earthquake etc. The special committee for predicting natural disasters in the Chinese Geophysical Society is making a comprehensive and synthetical study on the abovementiond disasters and conducting prediction of disaster chain. |
