摘    要:通过回顾植被演替研究的历史,简要论述了植被演替的理论与发展。综述了我国沙漠化过程中植被演替的研究现状。指出植物群落的逆行、进展演替实质上对应着沙漠化的正、逆过程。植被演替问题的研究与农、林、牧生产和经济活动紧密相连,是合理经营和利用自然资源的理论基础。因此,在沙漠化过程中,从植被演替与生物多样性、种群、环境的关系着手深入研究,有利于提出植被恢复的合理途径,改善生态环境,实现沙漠化土地的整治和可持续发展。

Abstract:Based on study reports and publications,this paper briefly reviews the development history of basic theories in vegetation succession.The classic theory of mono-climax though used to be an important approach in succession research,has elicited much criticism because of its overlooking the importance of time and soil effects.The idea of polyclimax,climax pattern,ecological succession and ecosystem development have enriched and developed the modern theories of succession.Based on the preceding theories,research situation in vegetation succession is examined in desertification.Regressive or progressive succession of plant community is virtually positive or negative processes of desertification.Research on vegetation succession,which is connected with agriculture,forestry and graziery production and economy activities,is the theoretical basis on suitably managing and utilizing natural resources.Thus,further research on relationships of vegetation succession and biodiversity,population and environment during desertification is the efficient key to finding ways of vegetation restoration,improving ecological environment,controlling desertification and realizing sustainable development.
