| Abstract: | The research technology and methods, the theoretic backup system and the basic characteristics of modern mineralogy are described in the paper. In addition, 4 first grade branches and 21 second grade branches of modern mineralogy are put forward. The research contents of the second grade branches are summarized broadly. The authors particularly focus their interest on mineralogy of life——the mineralogical problems in environment, agriculture, Chinese medicine, biology and biogenesis. |
