| Abstract: | The area of North China is one of the active earthquake areas in the east part of our country. In the area seismic activities are strong and the intervals between active periods are comparatively longer. The article relates the research work on the precursory earthquake series of strong quakes in the area within the present period since 1966 and comes to a conclusion that there is an unified crustal stress field acting in the present seismic period of the North China area. |
