| Abstract: | This paper summarizes the achievement of the geological prospecting tor gold since the establishment of the People's Republic of China, regarding the aspects of the increase of gold reserve and gold production, the breakthrough in types of gold deposits, the results of geological scientific research and the application of new techniques and new methods. Then, forecasting is made for the future 50 years in regard to the demand of gold and gold reserve, the potential of gold resources, the direction for finding gold ore and the measures should be adopted in the management of geological prospecting in socialistic market economy. |
