Abstract: | ![]() A boundary integral formulation for the dynamics of incompressible, inviscid, self-gravitating bodies is described. The method is applied to several problems of astrophysical interest: spheroidal equilibria (Maclaurin and Jeans), oscillations, and a simple version of tidal encounter and breakup. |
