In this paper, cubic spline interpolation function is expressed as a form adjusted with three weighted lines, and on this basis a new lax-tense spline has been developed. This new spline method possesses clear geometric meaning, simple computation and a wide range of controllable curve drawing. So it is more effective than tension spline in carto graphic application. |
