N.I. Safronov's paper, "Theory of Primary Dispersal Zones" |
| |
Abstract: | This review treats a very important geochemical subject, the true nature of and basis for applied study of geochemical zones in the earth's crust. Geochemical methods that take into account all the detectable parameters of mineral concentrations and dispersal zones should not be ignored, according to the reviewer. In a way, this review points up the fundamental issue in testing the validity of any system of exploration techniques: what is fundamental to mineral discovery and what is not. The reactionary, conservative geologist probably has his position fairly well stated by the review author, and the review is well worth reading for that consideration alone. — B. N. Cooper. |
