Discussion on the stratigraphic age of the "Heshan Sandstone" in the North China platform on the basis of genesis of rocks

The "Heshan Sandstone" is the products of the weathered and denuded Pre-Sinian meta-morphic rocks and the sand body of supralittoral facies formed during the transgression. It is also the products of the lateral acoretion and represents the oldest of the Cambrian rocks in its distributive province, not the youngest of the Pre-Cambrian rocks as some considered.
