| Abstract: | Based on the Winkler approach, the present paper proposes a mechanical model for prestressed cable sommers by the principles of structural mechanics. A software is developed under the Visual C environment, and an engineering case is calculated by this program. The reuslts show that the proposed model is reliable and practical, and will find wide uses. |
