| Abstract: | This paper analyzed the environmental characteristics of polar area, and identified the system architecture of the Location Based Services (LBS) for polar area based on the basic information. Then it introduced the applied technical contents and technical peculiarities in the LBS for polar area in detail, mainly include the monitoring technology for vehicle and person, positioning technology based on PDA, communication technology of polar area, etc. |
