| Abstract: | This paper discusses the geo-holographic phenomena and applications of the holographic theory to geosciences. Many facts in minerals, rocks, geological structures, fossils and so on, reveal that holographic phenomena ( self-similarity ) extensively occur in geosciences. Fractal provides a mathematical basis and repre-sentations for holographic geology. The tasks of holographic geology are main-ly to determine holographic units and the correspondence between the whole thing and holographic units in various ranks (levels ) , find holographic units that contain the most abundant information about the whole, and build up the fractal mode of the geological object interested. |
