Abstract:This paper studies attenuation and modulus dispersion of fluid saturated and dry rocks by low frequency responce method in the frequency range of 0.01 100Hz, and compares the attenuation characteristics of sandstone saturated with different fluids. The results show that dry sandstone attenuation increases with the increase of porosity of sandstone.
