| Abstract: | The vein copper deposit in Yangxin igneous body in the southeast of Hubei Province has been discovered in the recent years. Compared with many skarn copper deposits occurred in the contact belt, it may be a new-type copper deposit related to Yangxin igneous body. In the paper,by means of study of ore characteristics , it is showed to belong to magma-hydrothermal deposit. Gold and silver in the ore have showed heavy contents, so this mineralization is an important exploration guide in the Yangxin igneous body. The occurence of gold and silver in the ore has been studied and the epoch and stage of mineralization have been analyzed. A preliminary discussion on the genesis mechanism of the deposit is given. |
