新疆哈密喀拉塔格南变质核杂岩特征

喀拉塔格南变质核杂岩位于东天山地区中天山古陆中,为大陆边缘型变质核杂岩构造.该核杂岩原为EW长椭圆形,后被断裂破坏现呈半圆形.变质核杂岩由内核、滑脱系、盖层三单元构成,内圈为内核,由喀拉塔格岩群片麻岩和同构造侵入体组成;中圈为滑脱系,由喀拉塔格岩群片麻岩、兴地塔格岩组片岩和长城系星星峡岩群变碎屑岩组成,发育叠瓦状剥离正断层,与内核之间为主剥离断裂;外圈为盖层,由下石炭统雅满苏组组成.喀拉塔格变质核杂岩构造时代为晚泥盆世—早石炭世.

THE METAMORPHIC CORE COMPLEX OF SOUTH KALATAG NEAR HAMI, XINJIANG

The metamorphic core complex of South Kalatag is located in the Zhongtianshan terrane in the Dongtianshan region. The metamorphic core complex is in the continental margin. Early in it`s development it had a transmeridional ellipse shape due to destruction caused by faulting. The metamorphic core complex has an inner core composed of gneiss of Kalatag group (Pt1-Ar3K) and synkinematic intrusions that is surrounded by a decollement system. The decollement system is composed of gneiss of Kalatag group (Pt1-Ar3K ), schist of the Xingditage group (Pt1X) and metamorphic detrital rocks of the Xingxingxia group (Ch1X), in which developed imbricate detachment faults. There are many detachment faults between the inner core and the decollement system. Surrounding the decollement system are cover rocks composed of the Lower Carboniferous Yamansu group (C1y). The metamorphic core complex formed during the Upper Devonian to the early Lower Carboniferous.
