Future of the interpretation theory of gravity and magnetic anomalies

The general methodology of the interpolation theory of potential fields (gravity and magnetic anomalies), and, primarily, the three fundamental ideas underlying this methodology—(I) approximation, (II) linearization, and (III) optimization-are the matter of the utmost importance. The rationale of these ideas and the ways of their practical implementation are discussed in this paper.
