摘    要:为了客观评价基于网络编码的移动自组织网实时多播协议在时延、系统开销及可靠性性能增益,在NS2仿真平台上实现了一种基于网络编码的实时多播协议。通过仿真研究,将其性能与传统的基于存储转发的典型实时多播协议进行了比较。结果表明:易于网络编码的实时多播协议在系统可靠性和开销方面具有显著优势,但在时延性能方面仍不如传统的路由协议。表明通过合理的参数设置,NCRM可以在时延、可靠性和系统开销三者之间取得良好的均衡。

Abstract:For network coding based real-time multicast protocols in mobile Ad Hoc networks, to evaluate the gain in terms of latency, overhead and reliability, this paper implemented a network coding based multicast protocol-NCRM in NS2. Through simulations, we compare it with those typical traditional real-time multicast protocols using store-and- forwarding. The results show that NCRM can improve the performace significantly in terms of packet delivery ratio and overhead. However, the delay performance is still not as good as the traditional routing protocols. It indicates that, by setting suitable parameters, NCRM can achieve at a good tradeoff among delay, reliability, and overhead.
