入侵台湾岛及邻近地区的热带气旋移向突然右折规律的研究

本文研究14例西北太平洋上的热带气旋入侵台湾岛及邻近地区移向突然发生右折的规律。结果表明,右折路径的形成是由于环境流场和特殊地形共同作用的结果。地形的影响,经常可导致热带气旋流场结构变化,伴生台湾地形槽或低压,而它们一旦获得发展,即使在不利于右折环境流场条件下,仍可产生移向上的突然右折。

Regularity of sudden right turn of typhoons moving across Taiwan Island and its adjacent waters

This paper discusses the regularity of the sudden right turn of the typhoon track based on 14 cases of typhoon which formed in the Western Pacific and moved across the Taiwan Island and its adjacent waters, The rssults indicated that the right turn of typhoons relate to both the surrounding circulations and the specific topography in the area. The specific topographical effect can cause the change of low level circulation of a typhoon and induced a topographical trough or an accompanied depression, with the developing of the topographical trough or accmpanied depression, the typhoon can also move in the right turn direction even in some conditions that have disadvantageous current field for the right turn of its track.
