摘    要:本文在澄清关于Rossby水平湍流影响下的平均纬向风速的看法基础上,用两层模式将其推广到斜压大气,得出的平均纬向风速和经圈环流与经验事实有一定程度的相似处。因而或可供进一步改善假定,设计较合理的模式,探索地球大气中大型运动规律的参考。 本文中有些参数是由经验事实决定的,是一个半经验半理论的工作。

Abstract:In this paper,a semi-empirical study of the distribution of mean tonal wind and meridional circulation is presented.Rossby's1] original idea concerning the influence of large-scale horizantal mixing processes on the tonal wind is more or less clarified and extended to baroclinic atmosphere by means of two-layer model.Improvement of the model for further studies is also discussed.
