Abstract:T he results of simulating experiments under high temperature and pressure show that the oil-forming producibility increases and gas-forming producibility lowers as the pressure rises. At oil-generating stage, the high pressure delays the thermal evolution of organic matters and prevents oil from converting into gas,therefore, it preserves the deep oil reservoirs. The effect of pressure should be taken into account. There are very wide prospects forfinding the deep oil reservoirs under the depth of 5000m in the Junggar Basin.
