摘 要: | The method of determining the depth of geological events is based on the geobarometer method. According to this method, a depth to a certain position is obtained in such a way that the pressure at that position is divided by the specific weight(density) of the overlying rock formations, called the "W/SW" method in this paper. This method follows the principle of hydrostatics, assuming that rocks in this case are in a static fluid state(standard state) rather than a solid state. If so, only pressure could be measured from the rocks because the latter does not exist in a hydrostatic
